Heather Kirk – Sustainable Social Fabric

Heather Kirk is a trained biologist who moved from academia to impact entrepreneurship. Her organisation supports the use and production of textiles in a more sustainable and ethical way and is finding new ways of working with people from marginalized groups.

Heather Kirk made a transition from academia into the impact entrepreneurship world in 2015 because she wanted to work on projects that are aligned with her values and leverage her skills for impact. While the road has been a bumpy one, she knows she is on the right path, and she looks forward to sharing her experiences with other entrepreneurs.
