Danica Zeier – Don’t Just “Follow Your Passion,” Use Your Talent For What Is Needed

Danica Zeier works at the intersection of culture, business and education – she is a violonist, freelance consultant and works at the Zurich University of the Arts. With her we talked about the function of art in society, the challenges, that self-employed artists and small cultural institutions face – and how to support them.

Danica Zeier, M.A. is a violinist who studied economy, cultural management and controlling. She has over ten years of experience at the intersection between business, culture and education (Schauspielhaus Zürich, Kunsthalle Zürich, Kunstmuseum Basel, Stapferhaus Lenzburg, etc.). She works as a freelance consultant as well as at the Zurich University of the Arts where she developed their controlling program and is now responsible for strategic projects and quality management.
